Barrel to Glass - Grenache Tasting Experience
Step inside the winery with winemaker, Alan Varney and discover the journey behind his highly acclaimed Grenache. Sample wines direct from barrel and be guided through the Valeās unique story of soil, season, and craft.
Taste your way through the different districts and subregions of McLaren Vale.
Followed by a structured Varney Wines tasting and small snacks.
$80 per person - 6 person maximum per session.
Available Friday - Sunday. 2 sessions per day: 10am and 2pm.

Behind the Bottle - The Vineyards Experience
Immerse yourself in the complete Varney Wines story with winemaker Alan Varney as your personal guide. Enjoy a drive through the Vale and journey through each distinct distinguished vineyard, taste wines at their origin site, and let Alan share his passion and stories. Discover what sets each site apart before stepping back into the winery to learn the craft behind each bottle through an interactive barrel tasting experience.
Settle in for a shared lunch of local produce, followed by a guided tasting through the complete Varney Wines collection.
$295 per person - 4 persons max per session.
